Political Parties Speak
The most urgent threat to your fishing and hunting experience in New Zealand is the destruction of the habitat that our fish and game species depend on, and surety of access to them for recreational use. Fish & Game New Zealand offered all the political parties currently in Parliament the opportunity to outline their policy positions on issues important to anglers and hunters. This year’s feature on political parties’ policies is more comprehensive than our similar articles for previous election years simply because there are far more critical issues facing New Zealand in general that directly affect your interests.
Fish & Game New Zealand holds a neutral political position and makes no comment or analysis of any of the parties’ responses. Readers are encouraged to form their own opinions on the following replies prior to the election.
