TAKE A MATE HUNTING PROMOTION

The Nelson/Marlborough Fish and Game Region is running a “Take A Mate Hunting” promotion this gamebird season. If you hold a 2008/09 adult whole season licence you can take a “mate” (friend, partner, son, daughter, neighbour etc) out for FREE  - if they have never held a gamebird licence before. 

Please note the following conditions apply:

• The FREE licence is only valid after Monday the 12th of May 2008
• The “mate” must be accompanied by a whole season licence holder and is required to carry their “Take-a-Mate Hunting Licence” with them while hunting.
•  The Take-a-Mate Hunting licence can only be obtained from the local Fish and Game Office and is not inter-available.
•  The FREE licence does not cover any Fish and Game organised hunts such as the Molesworth/St James Canada Goose Hunts nor does it apply to pheasant hunting in the Nelson/ Marlborough Region.

If you are willing to take someone out who doesn’t have a “mate” who can take them out hunting, please contact your local Fish and Game Office - your help will be appreciated.  To obtain a “Take a Mate Hunting Licence” contact your local Fish and Game Office.
