Dear angler

Fish & Game wish to look at salmon and trout fishing effort throughout the rivers and lakes in the North Canterbury Region. The information gained from these is sure to prove valuable in the future management and protection of Canterbury’s rivers and lakes. This involves anglers completing angler diaries for each day spent fishing; even if no fish are caught the information is valuable as this study is about ANGLER EFFORT, not angler catch.

For this to be successful WE NEED YOUR HELP.

If you, or anyone you know fishes for:

· Salmon or Trout in any river or lake

We would appreciate your involvement or the name, address and telephone numbers of people who can assist.
