Early success key to getting juniors started

Early success is key to establishing a young duck hunters career and there is much we can do to help, in particular improving their shooting skills. Thankfully we have good opportunities at Clay Target Clubs to refine these skills before we do battle with ducks in the field and a round of sporting clays under the watchful eye of a shooting coach can really make a difference.

Fish & Game Otago want to encourage this so have teamed up the Dunedin Clay Target Club to offer a small round of simple targets to get a junior or novice pointed in the right direction. As a reward for doing so, all juniors (under 18yrs) who participate and want to hunt ducks will get a free duck hunting licence!

So get the teenager off the playstation and join us there, 9:30am at the Dunedin Clay Target Clubs Waldronville grounds on the 27th April to have a crack and give them the skills for the best possible start.
