Help Protect The Lower Waitaki River

Make a submission on the

• Meridian North Bank Tunnel and
• Hunter Downs Irrigation Scheme Resource Consents.

Both these consent applications threaten the integrity of the recently approved Waitaki Catchment Water Allocation Regional Plan and specifically attack the minimum river flows set in the plan to protect the fishery, the recreational amenity values including angling and the natural character of the Waitaki River

• ONLINE at www.ecan.govt.nz . Click on the ‘resource consents’ tab on the home page, Click on ‘Waitaki Consents’ from the drop down menu, that in turn has a drop down menu, go to ‘Public Notification’. At the end of each consent there is a ’make a submission here’ link.
