Taranaki Region RMA Issues Update

It’s been a busy year for staff, with submissions made to a number of high level policy documents such as Horizons Regional Council’s Proposed One-Plan, the Taranaki Regional Council’s Proposed Regional Policy Statement and proposed changes to the Stratford and South Taranaki District Plans.  We have also been involved as a submitter or affected party in a significant number of resource consent applications with potential to adversely affect Fish and Game interests.  A selection of the more important ones are described here.

TARANAKI FISH AND GAME COUNCIL MEETINGS SCHEDULE 2009

Licence holders and members of the general public are welcomed and encouraged to attend Taranaki Fish and Game Council meetings.  Details of venue and timings will be published on this web page when confirmed.  The current schedule of future council meetings is as follows:

Attendees are advised to confirm location, venue and timings with the Wanganui office of Taranaki Fish and Game (06 345 4908) on the day before the council is scheduled to meet as meetings may be subject to change at short notice.
