Counting Fish:
Fish & Game New Zealand has produced a mathematics resource that supplements textbook examples with real life applications of mathematics in a New Zealand setting.
Education Kits:
The Fish & Game New Zealand Cross-curriculum Environmental Resource Kit is targeted to Years 7 & 8, but is also useful for years below and above that. It was developed with the Dunedin College of Education.
River Voices: A Social Enquiry:
River Voices is a free educational resource with DVD from Fish & Game NZ, providing schools with curriculum-based inquiry learning in social sciences, science and education for sustainability.
Wetland Activities:
Forward thinking teachers are encouraging their students to understand the value of wetlands not only as wildlife habitat but also as important places in social and ecological systems.
