Wilson's Dam

Wilson's Dam has an algal bloom outbreak which is potentially toxic to animals. As a precautionary measure, Whangarei District Council has erected signs informing the public not to contact the water or eat the fish caught in the dam.

Lake Manuwai 

The algal bloom in Lake Manuwai, Kerikeri still persists. There is a temporary closure for access to this lake and NO angling can take place.
