Our Beginner Euro Nymphing Workshop is designed to cut through the noise and keep things simple.

Join an experienced local competitive euro nymphing angler for a practical, easy-to-follow introduction that focuses on what actually works — no over complicated jargon, just tried-and-tested skills to get you fishing with confidence.

Whether you’re completely new, have invested in gear but don’t know where to start, or find traditional fly fishing techniques a bit challenging, euro nymphing can be an incredibly effective and accessible way to consistently catch fish.

This workshop is all about building confidence, simplifying the process, and helping you get the most from your time on the water.

Workshop will be held in Waipukurau Hawke's Bay (venue TBC) from 8.30am-3.30pm Sunday 7th June. You'll need to bring your own gear, appropriate clothing & footwear for the river, transport to the venue and then to the river, lunch, snacks & water for the day. Suitable for ages 15+. All anglers must have a current fishing licence. Weather & river conditions dependant with rain out date of Sunday 14th June.
